Two years ago we knew the job market was changing significantly in the Greater Bay Area. We have always provided competitive wages and benefit packages to our staff. As I am sure many of our Bay Area clients will attest, finding qualified staff has been a challenge. In 2017, we were determined not to be a statistic and make a challenge into a positive. Our business was thriving but we just had to find the right workforce. Also, many of our clients are requiring bilingual services.
On March 1, 2017 we officially opened our second office in Stockton, CA. We were testing the market to see if we would find qualified quality agents. After posting that first job opening, hundreds of responses flew in. This “test” has certainly been a success, so much so that this month we have moved into a larger more permanent space. We are growing our staff in Stockton, while still maintaining our excellent support and experienced agent staff in Berkeley. The best of both worlds!
We recently hired our first class of three new agents in our new office, two of which are bilingual. During the hiring phase, we again found many strong candidates that allowed us to select the very best. Direct Line is also very proud to bring quality jobs with very good benefits to an area that is in desperate need for them. We feel as though we’re making a difference in the lives of our great staff and the Stockton community. We look forward to many more years of delivering excellence and continued growth!
